Project description

Starting with 26.10.2016, University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest (UPB) runs the project Innovative Technologies for Materials Quality Assurance in Health, Energy and Environmental – Centre for Innovative Manufacturing Solutions of Smart Biomaterials and Biomedical Surfaces (INOVABIOMED) - ID: P_36_611 | Contract No. 145/26.10.2016 between National Authority for Scientific Research and Innovation (NASR) as Intermediate Organism (IO) on behalf of and for the Ministry of European Funds (MFE) as Managing Authority (MA) for the Operational Program Competitiveness (POC).
The total value of the project is 71,831,990.19 lei, of which the non-reimbursable financial assistance is 66,761,485.81 lei.
The project will be implemented in Bucharest for a period of 24 months and is realized by the Faculty of Applied Chemistry and Materials Science through the Advanced Polymer Materials Group (APMG) and the specialized departments of the faculty, in collaboration with the Faculty of Medical Engineering, the Faculty Materials Science and Engineering through the Ecometalurgical Research and Expertise Center (UPB-CCEEM), the Faculty of Applied Sciences, the Faculty of Power Engineering and the Faculty of Engineering and Management of Technological Systems through the Department of Materials Strength.
